Spring Game Questions

What hockey game? I haven’t heard anything about a hockey game.

Anyway, Varsity Blue will be having team coverage of the final spring practice. If tradition holds, there will be a chance to interview players after the practice. This is where you come in. Let us know if you have any burning questions you’d like us to ask the players.

Ask one of the lineman how they are taking the transition of running to the line.

Please ask Slocum about his pets.

Please ask Threet/Sheridan which receivers they are developing a rapport with. I’d like to know who the favorite target is going to be (I suspect Greg Mathews).

Also, if you get a chance to talk to th running backs, I’m curious as to what they think of the new offense. Grady was a terrible fit for the zone blocking – I wonder if he likes this any better.

Last but not least – who (in the players’ opinions) is the biggest hitter on defense?

On that note, ask Grady if his position is still the same (RB and not FB or some hybrid thereof)

Maybe also ask Stonum how RichRod’s recruiting approach differs from Carr’s? I picture RichRod to be more intense, but with the same “this is how we do things, it’s awesome, but you can take it or leave it” approach.

please ask the members of the defense if they, themselves, believe that they are lacking intensity. I would like to hear their response after Coach Rod recently said they did lacked intensity and “didn’t want to hit”.

Try and findout what is going on with the running backs. If there is one position that we actually have depth at its rb. Three guys that would start on any team in Grady, Brown and Minor. Despite what some people believe, we have a good backfield. Three different players that have had 100 yard games. Plus next year we will have cox and mcguffie coming in.

    1) Is having to do the spring game on Pioneer High School nearly as bad as having to graduate on the Diag?

    2) If you were hypothetically awake after a long night of not drinking, not smoking, not exposing yourself indecently, or anything else, would you prefer big10 burrito or burrito joint, and why?

    3) Which pizza in Ann Arbor has the most top-end savoriness?

    4) Ask Nick Sheridan if he’s considered joining a fraternity. What are they going to do? Yank his scholarship?
