The first edition of the Varsity Blue recruiting video podcast is live! In the near future, look for the podcast to also be available for subscription on iTunes. In the first edition, the current Michigan commitments are introduced.
As of today, we are planning to make this a weekly offering.

This is a great addition to the blog so thanks! But one thing to ask, where did you get that Newsome is a soft commit and still looking around? I understand that’s false and that he’s a very SOLID commit.
I’m not sure if the narration was clear enough, but what I meant is that he is rumored to be a soft commit, not that he necessarily is. Look around the internet for a bit (including my post from a few days ago about a PSU homer in the newspaper), and the rumor is certainly out there. How credible it is, on the other hand, I’m not sure.
