  1. West Texas Blue says...

Sweet Jesus, Southeastern kicked Cass Tech’s ass all 3 times this year; are Gholston and his boys that good?

Since there are 3 top DE prospects in the 2010 class (Gholston in MI, Turner and Baldwin in OH), I wonder how they will be divided among OSU, UM, and MSU? Do you think each team will pick up one of them, or OSU will grab 2 with UM and MSU fighting for the last one?

  2. Tim says...

I think Southeastern is a little more complete of a team, despite not having quite as many top prospects. I watched Cass Tech play once last year, and they also didn’t seem to be particularly well-coached (which is apparently a long-standing issue with pretty much all of the PSL teams).

As far as the DEs in next year’s class, I think it’ll be Michigan and MSU battling for Gholston, with OSU coming in close behind that, MSU or OSU for Turner (with Mich right behind that), and OSU all the way for Baldwin.

Of course, that’s just my feeling for their recruitments so far, and I may be way off on any of them, and things are bound to change a lot before signing day rolls around more than a year away.

  3. Jeff says...

I guess there won’t be many more of these, but I have a suggestion. Could you put in a summary at the top just listing who had a big game or who didn’t play?
