Tim, my mistake. Story began with Latwan, then shifted to another recruit, Isaiah Lewis, who has OSU & MSU in his top 3. I missed the shift . . . anyhow, story is in today's Freep 6/19.

Everything I've read has has Michigan in the top 3 with MSU and WVU. Apparently, the disparity between his offers ans his talent is due to misbehavior problems in school. Hopefully changing schools will work that out for him, wherever he ends up going to college.

BTW - any link to the Freep story?

Kids want to go pro and both of those coaches have pro connections and send kids to the pros. Simple as that.

I still cannot understand why kids commit to ND or Pitt unless they don't have any other offers.

Both have overrated coaches that have never done anything of substance. The mustache can even be credited with ruining more teams that the blimp. (Bears, Dolphins, and Panthers).
