The idea that there's a single guy on this year's team with any real Heisman potential is nuts. The only remotely feasible candidate is Minor, and he'd have to rush for 2000 yards and Michigan would have to go 10-2 or better with a victory over OSU in the bargain for there to be even a tiny, tiny chance. Those things ain't happening this year. One of the things about Michigan that I've always liked is the absence of the program-sponsored and initiated marketing campaigns for Heisman hopefuls. I'm thinking of the ridiculous gigantic building-sized promos for Joey Harrington that the University of Nike did a number of years ago. Howard and Woodson didn't need that kind of silliness.
