The incoming class is light on D-1 level D-Line talent. Take a look at the amount of strait up D-Line talent in the Rivals top 100 compared to last years. It is a weak crop.

I realize it's still early in the 2010 recruiting process, but so far there's no evidence at all to suggest that Greg Robinson's Super Bowl rings and past experience as DL coach are leading to success in the recruiting for defensive linemen.

Good stuff Tim.

Mathis to me has a lot of issues with pass defense. He is pretty good in run support, but against quality teams he gets burnt like toast. Had a horrible camp. Reminds of that that Spartan guy Jaren Hayes who couldn't cover Braylon. Hopefully he'll choose the Spartina's.

As far as the Bolden kid is concerned he has trouble making decisions on the field, good athlete with skill, but I wish he would go to MSU instead of PSU. Kid is a demanding cancer.

Everyone is concerned about Sparty, but Penn State is cleaning up again in recruiting and so are the Suckeyes. All the Wolverines message boards are way too concerned with Sparty. OSU and PSU are the teams to beat.
