FWIW : Sam Montgomery seemed VERY excited when Craig Losten picked the LSU hat at the skills competition yesterday… you could see Sam in the crowd jumping and cheering. Sam will go to Baton Rouge IMO.
I’d agree with you that LSU is something of a very heavy favorite here, but I’d be surprised if the firing of the DL coach (if I’m not mistaken, primary recruiter for Montgomery and Otter) had no effect on either situation.
Of course, replacing him with DaCoachO isn’t exactly a downgrade in terms of recruiting prowess.

No, but typically the announcements are… er… announced early in the game or half in which they will occur.
